Adding creative projects below

about my approach to creating - i make it up as i go Shhhh!

A long while ago, on an island not far away, I discovered my inspiration in people. New York City holds an extraordinary range of backgrounds, stories, and energy. The shared environment around us is alive with images and messages with advertisements that inform, entice, and compete for our attention at every turn.

This constant stream of human experience and visual noise mirrors the restless spirit of NYC itself.

My heartfelt thanks go to the thousands of people who paused in their day to share a moment and help to create and smile along with me. What follows is a small sample of these encounters between myself and New York City.

1000 Selfies with stangers

Starting in 2015, I walked the streets of New York City with handheld images of myself, inviting strangers to collaborate. For every ten people I approached, one said yes. Reaching 1,000 participants meant asking nearly 10,000. What emerged is a collection built on chance encounters, shared humor, and the brief willingness of strangers to create something together.
